Islas de Bu Tinah

Bu Tinah es un archipiélago minúsculo en medio de extensas formaciones de coral y lechos de algas marinas, alrededor de 25km al sur de la ciudad de Zirku y 35 km al norte de Marawah en los Emirates Árabes Unidos. Es una zona no tocada por el hombre, como todas las aguas de Abu Dhabi, y está protegida como reserva natural privada. La pesca y la recolección de huevos de tortuga están prohibidas y esta prohibición se hace cumplir por medio de patrullas. Bu Tinah es en realidad un conjunto de islas y bajíos, casi conectados en aguas bajas, en sitio ninguno de más de dos o tres metros sobre nivel del mar. La isla principal tiene una laguna abrigada que se abre al sur con el medioambiente de poca energia permitiendo el gran crecimiento de los manglares.
