Bu Tinah è uno agglomerato minuscolo d’isole in mezzo ad una estensa formazione di corali in un letto di alghe marine, circa a 25 km dal sud della città di Zirku e 35 km al nord di Marawah negli Emiradi Arabi. In una zona non toccata dal uomo, come tutte le acque di Abu Dhabi, è protetta come riserva naturale. La pesca e la raccolta delle uova di tartarughe sono proibite e questa proibizione si fà rispettare con delle guardie che curano il posto. Bu Tinah è un congiunto d’isole molto basse quasi al livello dell’acqua, non c’è un posto con più di 3 metri sopra il livello del mare. Nell’ isola principale c’è una laguna riparata che si apre a sud e l’ambiente con una bassa corrente, permette la fioritura delle mangrovie mature.
