Der Puerto Princesa Underground River liegt etwa 50 km nördlich von der Stadt Puerto Princesa auf der Insel Palawan in den Philippinen. Seine Hauptattraktion ist der mit etwa 8,2 km längste schiffbare Untergrundfluss der Welt, der unter dem Massiv eines Karstgebirges mit dem 1027 m hohen Mount St. Paul hindurch schließlich in das Südchinesische Meer mündet. Durch das eingestürzte Deckgebirge wurde in dem mit Klüften und Hohlräumen durchsetzten Kalkstein ein bis zu 45 m hoher Dom geschaffen. Vielerorts haben sich Stalagmiten und Stalaktiten, Orgelpfeifen und Vorhänge gebildet. An der Flussmündung liegt eine von uralten Bäumen umrahmte, klare Lagune. An ihrem Strand haben Affen, große Echsen und Eichhörnchen ihren Lebensraum gefunden.
